LARS provides support services and outreach to homeless individuals and families under a grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Some of the support services provided include case management, employment assistance, first month's rent, transportation, and birth certificate fees. LARS also conducts intake assessments for winter shelter participants on behalf of local congregations.
